Let the fun begin. We are on the road to Austin for the State DI Tournament.
Friday night is Pin Trading. Look at all the people and kids. There were 2 gyms filled with kids from all over the State. The kids come with several of their regional pins and trade with participants from other regions.
Here is Kendall in action. We all know Kendall loves pins.
All day Saturday was the tournament and then that night was the awards ceremony. The Golden Dragons did a great job, their structure held a lot more weight than the regional tournament. They did alot of work between tournaments to improve their structure.
Kendall's team got 5th place at State. She was excited! During the awards ceremony she texted me and said, "I'm doing DI until I get to Globals." (that's determination) Looks like she is doing DI next year.
DI has been going on since October of 2007 and now it is over, now I wonder what she will do with her time? She is having withdrawls.
